The Residents and Service Users’ Volunteer Programme (RSVP) is a supported volunteering programme specifically designed for The Wallich residents and service users
RSVP provides practical, structured and, not to mention, fun opportunities to:
- Develop new or existing skills and interests
- Meet new people
- Build confidence
- Share skills and experience with others
- Be part of a team
- Find a valued place within a community

There are a variety of volunteering opportunities such as gardening, maintenance, peer mentoring, befriending and taking part in skill-enhancing workshops.
We support and nurture clients’ needs and interests to find a suitable volunteer placement which matches their individual skills and ambitions.

Volunteering is sometimes the first, and most important, step for people to move forward with their lives.
Ultimately, we want to help people achieve a level of skill and confidence to apply for, acquire and maintain a job, as well as feel ready to live independently.
