Homelessness can be a complex topic

You are considered ‘homeless’ if:
You do not have accommodation you are legally allowed to stay in
You can’t access your accommodation
You can’t stay in your accommodation for some reason
Types of homelessness
Sleeping rough

(living on a friend or relative’s sofa)

Living away from your home because of domestic abuse/violence
Living in a hostel, bed and breakfast or other temporary / emergency accommodation
